12th Convocation of IIT Jodhpur

The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur is proud to announce its 12th Convocation Ceremony, to be held on 6th June 2026 at the IIT Jodhpur campus. This prestigious occasion will celebrate the academic accomplishments of 1,442 graduands, who have successfully completed undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, dual-degree, diploma, and certificate programs across a broad spectrum of disciplines.

The Convocation will be presided over by Shri A. S. Kiran Kumar, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIT Jodhpur, and former Secretary, Department of Space and Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The ceremony will also feature the Convocation Report and Address by Prof. Avinash Kumar Agarwal, Director, IIT Jodhpur.

The Convocation will be conducted in two sessions. The Undergraduate Convocation will be graced by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Chairman, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Government of India, as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Govindan Rangarajan, Director, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru, will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

The Postgraduate Convocation will feature Dr. S. Somanath, Former Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), as the Chief Guest. Shri Neelkanth Mishra, Chairman, Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and Chief Economist at Axis Bank, will grace the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

IIT Jodhpur continues its journey under the vision of IIT Jodhpur 5.0, the Institute has strengthened its position as a leading centre of excellence in education, research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal impact. The Institute has expanded its academic and research ecosystem through the establishment of new departments, cutting-edge research centres, innovative academic programs, and a rapidly growing international and industry engagement portfolio.
